Born 1981 in Hässleholm, Alexandra Nilasdotter now has her studio based in Gustavsberg, just outside Stockholm. 
Her works is inspired by architecture, industrialism and minimalism and mostly executed in clay or glass. Alexandra creates utensils and unique objects defined by simplicity and pure lines.

Her work explores the contrast between raw, untreated surfaces and softly glazed areas, creating a tactile experience with subtle variations in matte and glossy finishes. Based in Stockholm with a studio in Gustavsberg, Nilasdotter’s pieces, from functional items to unique artistic objects, reflect her fascination with the raw consistency of clay and her architectural inspirations, resulting in works that are both robust and refined.
